Opportunities

Opportunities are detected by data profiling and this shows us trends in how the building is operating. We monitor:

• How the building is operating day to day compared to how it has historically.
• How it is operating compared to local weather patterns - temperature, humidity etc.
• If equipment is operating to a set schedule we ensure the schedules are reflective of operations.
• Mechanical profiles reflect the equipment is operating soundly.

Each opportunity identified is given a value of the expected savings achievable, which gives a baseline to record savings to.

Analytics

Energy consumption is captured via electrical sub-meters in your building that send real time data up to a cloud platform. The meters give us interval data broken down by area and equipment and allows us to see exactly where and how energy is being used. From here, we can begin to determine why it is being used the way it is and identify opportunities for efficiency.

Solutions

We work with your team both in store and offsite (sub-contractors for refrigeration, HVAC and electrical) to implement identified energy efficiency opportunities. There may be adjustments to the way staff are operating equipment manually, identifying opportunities to change manual operations to automatic, detecting mechanical equipment malfunction, breakdown or misuse, and ensuring automatic schedules are operating correctly.

Results

Results are recorded against baselines to determine the impact of opportunities undertaken. A new baseline is set and monitored to ensure the results are retained and adjustments remain in place, maximising savings and ensuring their longevity.
